General Policy

Riverside Inn & Cabins is privately owned.  We reserve the right to adapt policy rules as we see fit considering our guest’s safety and comfort.  This is our highest priority.  Guests not respecting others, our policies or property, may be ask to leave without refunds. 

Reservation Policies

  • A valid credit card is required to make a reservation – VISA, MC, Discover.
  • Rates quoted are based on 2 person occupancy in rooms & cabins, children under 12 stay free, additional adults add $10 each.  Rates are subject to change without notice.

  • Pets are welcome guests in some rooms & cabins at $5.per pet per night.
  • Deposits are required at the time of booking to reserve 5 or more nights, multiple accommodations & groups.  Deposit is 50% of total, less any taxes or fees which are collected at check in.
  • Discounts are applied at check in – present membership cards for AAA, Active Military, Senior/AARP or Ouray Ice Park discounts.
  • Payment is due for all rights reserved upon arrival.  Refunds are not given for early checkouts.
  • All rooms and cabins are non-smoking.

    We reserve the right to assign cabin numbers and standard rooms at check in.

Cancellation Policy

  • 1 to 4 night s may be cancelled 72 hours prior to check in date with no fee. Cancellations within 72 hours of check in will incur a fee of one night stay for each accommodation reserved.
  • 5 or more nights, multiple accommodations & group reservations require a 50% deposit, charged at the time of booking.  Cancellations more than 30 days prior to check in date receive a refund less one night stay for each room reserved.  Cancellations less than 30 days prior to check in date are subject to deposit forfeiture.

  • Guests must call us to cancel a reservation so we can provide you a cancellation number.  Email and phone messages will not guarantee cancellation and no show fees will apply.

SMOKING POLICY

  • All rooms and cabins are NON-smoking
  • This is a small property and smoke of any kind is easily detected, which will result in $120 fee + one night room/cabin rate to deep clean and ozonize. 
  • Smoking is permitted outside with the use of an ashtray, with doors and windows to your room closed.
  • Please respect the sensitivities of other guests. 

Pet Policies

  • Canine Pets are welcome guests in most of our ground floor rooms and cabins.
  • Pet fee is $5.00 per pet, per night with a maximum of 2 dogs.
  • Do not leave your pet unattended in your room or cabin – NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Leashes are REQUIRED, at all times while your pet is on the property.
  • Beds and furniture are off limits for pets to prevent difficult hair and dirt removal.
  • Accidents may happen – call us immediately to assist cleaning before stain sets.
  • Please pick up after your pet. We provide pet pickup bags at several locations on the property.
  • Barking or aggressive behavior are not conducive to the quiet, friendly environment of the Riverside Inn and will not be tolerated. 
  • VIOLATIONS to our pet policy will incur a fee of $120.00 plus any damages.

Damage to or Loss/theft of Property

  • Guests may be charged additional cleaning or damage fees if excessive housekeeping or maintenance is required to return room, cabin or property to check in condition.
  • Riverside Inn is not responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for the loss or damage of personal items.   If you forget something, we will contact you to make arrangements for C.O.D. return.
